I am back with today’s second post covering the “other” two outfits worn by the Duchess that we saw today. If you missed the Jubilee Pageant post, you can read it here.
We’ll begin with the baking video, which shared images of the three Cambridge children and their mother in the kitchen.
It looks like Prince Louis has flour sifting duties.
While Princess Charlotte handled some of the eggs.
Princess Charlotte and Prince George.
The caption reads: “Baking cakes for the local community in Cardiff to enjoy at a Platinum Jubilee street party taking place today!” Here is the Instagram post, which runs for about 10 seconds.
In the video, you see cupcakes that are going to be decorated.
My guess is that they took them to Cardiff yesterday so that people would have them today. (Outfit details are after the next section.)
The other ensemble was worn for a Big Jubilee Lunch, seen in photos shared on Instagram. The street party was in Ladbroke Grove.
Accompanying the post on Instagram, this caption: “The perfect Royal ending to the Platinum Jubilee Weekend. Will and I felt incredibly honoured to meet HRH Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and HRH Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. As a new British Citizen they spent such lovely and welcoming words and we will treasure this moment forever.”
Plant Loving Artist shared this photo on Instagram. I think she was at the party to do face-painting.
The couple wanted to thank the local community for joining the Big Lunch. More from The Mirror’s story.
Prince William and Kate Middleton gave royal fans at one street party a surprise of a lifetime when they “dropped in” unannounced before taking selfies with guests.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a “last minute change” to their plans and decided to surprise revellers at the Ladbroke Grove street party in London before heading to the Platinum pageant today (Sunday, June 5).
The couple seemed to enjoy themselves in all the photos posted online, including those shared by Rachel Abbiss on Instagram.

More about the lunches from this People story.
The Big Jubilee Lunch is a special 2022 version of the UK’s annual Big Lunch initiative, which sees thousands of people come together each year over “a cuppa” and a bite to eat.
Together with an estimated 16,000 other street parties, it’s expected that between 10-12 million Brits will take to the streets on Sunday to wave a Union Jack and raise a glass — generally containing something far stronger than Charles’ tea.

At the Braemar party, this was on the table.
The Washington Post has a pretty good description of the concept in this story.
It was a little chilly, sure, with skies the color of cod belly. But it didn’t rain, much. And under the floppy tents it was as snug as a tea cosy, as vast numbers of Britons on Sunday hosted street parties as part of the “Big Jubilee Lunch,” to celebrate the queen’s 70 years on the throne.
It was like an American Fourth of July, only the English don’t celebrate that one. But there was the same DIY and WhatsApp vibe, the same feelings of laid-back block party, come-one, come-all. The little kids got their faces painted. The teens kept to the fringes, quietly hating it, while loving it. You know how that works.
It was neighbors meeting neighbors, people pulling the lawn furniture out of the garage after the interminable bummer of two years of pandemic.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex were in Windsor on the Long Walk, which had more than 500 picnic benches for the occasion.
A look at all those picnic tables.

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall joined the fun.
More from the People article.
The Prince of Wales, 73, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, 74, joined thousands of royal revelers at London’s Oval Cricket Ground on Sunday for a Big Jubilee Lunch in honor of his mother’s 70-year rule.
Here is a quick video.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie were at the Big Jubilee Lunch organized by Westminster Council for local volunteer and community groups who helped during the Covid-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, I do not have any photos from the event.
Now for our look at what Kate wore, starting with the baking photos. She was in a top by Brora, the label’s Gingham Chelsea Collar Blouse (£129).
It is 100% cotton and described as having a “charming neckline and frill trim, flattering cuffed sleeves that sit above the elbow, button-through design all set on a feminine peony gingham.” Below, a closer look at a sleeve cuff and a portion of the collar.
Thank you to Giulia and Emily for this ID; they posted it at precisely the same minute!
We can also thank Emily for identifying the Duchess’s necklace. She suggests the necklace is by Auree, the ‘Bali’ January Garnet Birthstone Necklace ($420). From Auree’s Bali Birthstone collection, it is made of 9ct recycled gold yellow gold with a garnet. The gold disc is polished on one side and brushed on the other, and it can be engraved.
It’s possible the earrings are the Auree Barcelona Garnet Hook style ($59) in 18ct yellow gold vermeil on sterling silver. Auree is based in southwest London, started by Amelia Carmichael in 2014. The necklace is out of stock but available for preorder, with delivery expected in mid-July. Hopefully, we’ll see these pieces again and have a chance to look at better photos. The Duchess also looked like she was wearing her & Other Stories Favorite Cut jeans ($99).
And now for the Big Jubilee Lunch look.
The dress is a modified version of the Alessandra Rich Pleated Embellished Silk Crepe de Chine Dress, with thanks to Shannon Lea for the ID.
It is made of silk crepe de chine and features a midi length, pleating, gathered sleeves with button cuffs, shoulder pads, an extended keyhole back, a hidden side zipper, and a self-belt with crystal embellishments. The dress worn by the Duchess has fabric-covered shoulder buttons instead of crystals, and her belt does not have crystals on the buckle. I think the extended keyhole back has been eliminated.
It looks like the Duchess repeated her Jimmy Choo Romy 85 pumps in white ($695) shown below when worn in the Bahamas.
And the Maria Black Cha Cha earrings ($188) shown here when worn on a previous engagement.
The earrings are sterling silver with 22-carat gold plating, and they are sold singly. A reminder, if wanting a matched set, you will need to order two.
We wrap up our Platinum Jubilee coverage with three looks in one day!
