Warren Henderson has one heck of a Hudson. How many number matching 1942 Hudson T-20s do you see around these days? Not many! If you do I doubt they are as nieces Warren’s.

“My 1942 Hudson 20-T is a number matching car with VIN T- 2017742, the engine and frame numbers have the same matching number, possibly built on Oct. 31 of ’41. All the trim pieces, chrome plated bumpers, and bright metal are in great condition.”
“Vehicles built after January 1st, 1942, were called “victory cars” or “blackouts”, because the government did not allow the use of chrome or stainless-steel trim then, due to the war effort. The interior, paint and undercarriage look like the day the first proud owner drove it home from the dealership. It has a six-cylinder engine with 3-speed column shift (“3-on-a-tree”) which was the most often chosen engine / shift option for 1942. Production started in September and ended on February 5th, 1942, due to WWII. Only 40,661 Hudsons were produced, which makes it a very rare vehicle. It looks starts and drives just like the day it was driven home. It also had a very interesting dealer installed option, a twin size mattress that fit into the trunk, ask me why!!!!”
