Lufthansa Airlines clarify use of AirTags on flights

Airline business Lufthansa has swung concerning banning the use of AirTags on baggage and allowing for them.

Lufthansa tweeted that Apple’s tracking equipment had been frowned on in checked baggage, but then did a swift 360 and said that the AirTag, with its very low transmission ability and battery, did not pose protection challenges.

The business issued a tweet that now lets its use. It was odd how the airline deemed the AirTag unsafe in flights irrespective of global restrictions declaring they were not.

Tweets began circulating the world-wide-web when the airport said that they have been ‘banning activated AirTags from luggage’ as they were regarded as ‘dangerous and require to be turned off’.

Then, the enterprise described how baggage trackers are subject to hazardous merchandise regulations according to ICAO recommendations. Lufthansa recommends deactivating the trackers for the duration of the flight if it’s linked to checked baggage.

As it turns out, the reference to the battery regulation was off since it says that the battery has to be far more than two grams in purchase to be provided.
